Design and Practicality

First introduced to the market in the 1970s, the Range Rover became known for combining a luxurious cabin with rugged performance that did not compromise on comfort, style and outstanding off-road capabilities.

Now, Range Rover is introducing a new version of this iconic SUV. Whilst the classic elements that made the Range Rover so sought after were maintained, new features have been introduced to upgrade the exterior design to showcase a modern aesthetic.

Spacious and ample, the cabin was built to seat up to seven people comfortably and the seats are divided in the traditional 20/40/20 split, which facilitates access to the boot and expands storage capacity from 818 litres with the seats up to 1,943 litres.

Technology and Safety

You can expect nothing less than cutting-edge onboard technology, as the Range Rover has always prided itself on equipping their vehicles with top-of-the-range technology.

A 13.7-inch driver information display is accompanied by a 13.1-inch infotainment system placed in the cockpit. Featuring user-friendly software that comes pre-installed, wireless connectivity is the key that allows seamless connectivity to smartphones. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come built in the infotainment, which enables you to access your contact list from your phone.

Range Rover always prioritises safety. The manufacturer offers a wide range of safety features that are divided into seven categories that include, but it is not limited to:

  • Driver assistance systems
  • Collision avoidance and protection
  • Off-road safety

Among some of the features you can find as standard are lane departure warning, 360-degree camera system, and hill descent control.

Engines and Performance

Fully specifications are still to be announced by the manufacturer, however it is known that this new electric model of the Range Rover is going to feature a fully electric powertrain.

Prototypes have been tested extensively in the United Arab Emirates Al Badayer desert, to ensure this new model retains the manufacturer's ability to perform with excellence in an off-road environment.

Charging
